About This Project
To efficiently capture the varied landscapes and extensive grounds, conventional terrestrial survey techniques were integrated with aerial LiDAR drone technology. This combined approach enabled the rapid collection of highly accurate terrain data while maintaining the precision required for cadastral features and site infrastructure.
The use of airborne laser scanning represented a significant opportunity to leverage this technology to provide a rich data source and notable economies over ground-based conventional LiDAR. This advanced drone can penetrate through light vegetation to visualize the underlying undergrowth and ground surface. It also reduced the human impact of survey teams on site to respect the privacy and ceremony of park users.
