About This Project
Engaged by Degnan, DSP provided surveying services, including conventional survey and laser scanning, to develop a digital twin BIM model aligned with the TfNSW DE Framework. Our construction survey team provided survey support over the course of the build timeline including important access compliance certification.
Sustainability was a key focus, with environmentally conscious initiatives contributing to an Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) Leading As-Built certification. The project also prioritised social sustainability by incorporating First Nations cultural narratives and ensuring full accessibility compliance, creating a station that meets the diverse needs of the Towradgi community.

Outcome
The Result
The project delivered significant improvements, including a new footbridge spanning the rail corridor, two lifts, upgraded stairs, reformed, and widened platforms, enhanced shelters, and improved pedestrian access with new footpaths and kiss & ride areas. Additionally, the station now features an upgraded family-accessible toilet, ensuring inclusive facilities for all.
