After completing his Bachelor of Surveying at Newcastle University in 1997 Grant commenced his career in surveying undertaking highrise construction.  Grant joined DSP in 1998 and very quickly gained experience across a broad range of survey projects.

In 2003 Grant was invited to became a partner of DSP and shortly after became involved within the rail division, providing services across a diverse range of rail infrastructure projects.  Grants knowledge of standards and specifications required for working within the rail corridor ensure DSP remain compliant and provide a consistent quality service to their clients.
